Maliotis Greek Dance Workshop

Learn a variety of regional dances from experienced and talented instructors. Full-day workshop with each 1½ hour class focusing on a specific region of Greece. Classes designed for adults and children age 12 and older, all skill levels. There will be a final wrap-up session at the end of the day, followed by a reception.

Workshop instructors include: Michael Kalaitzidis of the Panagia Soumela Boston Dance Troupe; Georgia Mavridis of the Katerinioton Society “Ta Pieria” (Pontos); John Pappas and Rena Fotopulos of the Metropolis of
Boston Youth Dance Group (Macedonia); Elefteris Plevrakis of the Megalonisos Cretan Dance Group (Crete); and Irene and Mike Savas of the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon (Islands).

SCHEDULE
Breakfast 8:15 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Morning Session (2 classes) 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Lunch 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Afternoon Session (2 classes) 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Finale and reception 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

FEE: $40.00 per person (Fees include all classes, breakfast, lunch, reception and souvenir T-shirt).
