Pastoral Visit to the Annunciation Church in Woburn

On Thursday, March 24, 2016 His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston visited the Annunciation parish in Woburn to preside at the Festal Vespers service, celebrating the parish’s name day. At the end of the service His Eminence bestowed upon Fr. Dimitrios Mott, pastor of the community, the rank of Father Confessor. His Eminence stressed to Fr. Dimitros the importance of the sacrament of Repentance and Holy Confession, reminding him that our Woburn parish must become a Jacob’s well for all men and woman to enter and find spiritual shelter and renewal. His Eminence also tonsured Fotis Papiris, a graduating senior of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology,  blessing him as he begins his work as Director of Ministries for the Metropolis of Boston.
