Youth Retreats


 

JOY & GOYA District Retreats

 
The Metropolis in conjunction with each District plans and runs youth retreats for the surrounding parishes each Spring.  These nine separate District Retreats provide a great opportunity for children to learn more about their faith while interacting with other Greek Orthodox Christians from nearby churches.  This year the theme for each of the district retreats is "Don't Let It Own You: For Where Your Treasure Is There Your Heart Will Be Also."

Altar Boy Retreat Weekend

The Metropolis runs an altar boy retreat at Hellenic College/ Holy Cross in Brookline. The altar boys receive training in serving as an altar boy while sharing fellowship with other boys in the Metropolis.
