His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios Visits St. Luke Parish in East Longmeadow

On Sunday March 5, 2017 His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the St. Luke Parish in East Longmeadow, MA. Being the first Sunday of Great Lent - the Sunday of Orthodoxy was celebrated. At the end of the Divine Liturgy  the clergy followed by the youth of the parish processed around the church with their icons. Some of the children held icons that they made in their Sunday school classes. His Eminence also had the opportunity to bless a new icon of St. Anastasia that was recently installed in the church. In his address to the congregation His Eminence encouraged everyone to emulate the message of the gospel reading – becoming like Philip and radiating the love and embrace of our Orthodox faith into the society in which we live, encouraging people to Come and See!
