Metropolitan Methodios Welcomes Over 700 Clergy and Laity at the 27th Annual Metropolis Ministry Awards Dinner

On Sunday, June 10, 2013 over 700 clergy and laity throughout New England filled the Lombardo's Function Facility in Randolph, Massachusetts to celebrate the 27th Annual Metropolis of Boston Ministry Awards Dinner.

The faithful of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston, in grateful recognition of the dedicated men and women who serve our communities, gather as a family each year at the Ministry Awards Dinner.
The Ministry Award is bestowed upon those chosen by each parish community, who have contributed their time and talents for the progress of the local Parish. Special Awards are also presented to individuals by Metropolitan Methodios in recognition of their outstanding service to the Ministries of our Metropolis. This year's special award was given posthumously to Sophia Nibi.  Sophia's years of dedication and love for the Metropolis of Boston and the Philoxenia House was honored, and her loving daughter Theresa Nibi proudly accepted the award.  She entered into eternal rest on February 21, 2013 and is missed by all who knew her.
