The Feast of St. Andrew - The Feast of the Metropolis

The Great Vesper Service was celebrated on the Feast of the Metropolis - St. Andrew.  The faithful filled the Cathedral Chapel and the Metropolis Hall for the reception following the service.  His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios presided at the service with Fr. Iakovos of Mount Athos serving as the lead priest.  Bishop Arthur Kennedy was in attendance representing Cardinal O'Malley and the Catholic Archdiocese, following a long-standing tradition.  The Rev. Laura Everett, the newly appointed Executive Director of the Mass. Council of Churches, was also in attendance.
