Rebuilding of St. Nicholas Church in New York

            Thank you for joining me to commemorate the rebuilding of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. It was an honor to have you with us for this event.

            This critical development is another important step in the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan and in our continuing recovery from the terrible events of 9/11. By finally restoring the proud history and enduring legacy of St. Nicholas Church, we will strengthen the fabric of the local community and promote greater understanding and harmony anong our people.
