Staff Training Continues for 2011 MBC Summer Camp Program

His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios met with Camp Director Michael Sintros on March 10 to discuss of the ongoing training sessions of Staff Members for the 2011 Summer Camp Programs.  Held monthly at the Metropolis Center and at the Faith & Heritage Center, the training sessions prepare the dedicated counsellors and other staff members to ensure a rewarding summer camp experience for the hundreds of campers who attend summer camp from thoughout the United States.  More than 40 young adults from throughout New England, attended the March 10 session in the Metropolis Center.  The training sessions begin with a fellowship dinner and include a spiritual reflection by a member of the clergy.  Fr. Athanasios Nenes, Pastor of the Assumption Church in Manchester, NH,  offered this week's reflection.  During the evening the directors and staff members reviewed, discussed and considered various programs and activities which will enrich the campers' experience at the Faith & Heritage Center.
