Metropolitan Methodios and Greek School Teachers Meet

                His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios met with the teachers of the Metropolis afternoon Greek Schools on October 16 at the Metropolis Center in Brookline.  His Eminence was pleased to receive a positive response from the teachers in the aftermath of the recently held Seminar during which Hellenic College Professor Dr. Aristotle Michopoulos presented the new book of the Archdiocese, titled “My Greek”.  Theodora Chronopoulos is the President of the Metropolis Greek Teachers.

             During the meeting, the following dates were set for the current school year:  Metropolitan Methodios will host the annual cutting of the Vasilopita at the Metropolis Center on January 8.  The celebration of the Three Hierarchs and Greek Letters will take place on January 30 at the Maliotis Cultural Center.  Metropolitan Methodios will host the annual Paschal Dinner at the Metropolis Center on April 30.  Graduation for students who complete the Greek Studies Program in the communities will be held on June 4 at the Maliotis Center.
