Photographs from the Visit to the Patriarchate by Orthodox-Catholic Pilgrimage

The visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate was one of the highlights of The Spiritual Pilgrimage to the Ancient Sees of Saints Peter and Andrew which Metropolitan Methodios of Boston and Bishop McManus of Worcester let last month.   Said Metropolitan Methodios, “The pilgrimage afforded all of us the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Sts Peter, Paul, and Andrew and be inspired to pattern our lives after these pillars of our Christian faith. It was most inspiring to see how all the pilgrims bonded together and recommitted themselves to work for the progress of our two Churches. We had many opportunities to discuss the various issues that keep us divided while we prayed for the international dialogue participants who were meeting in Vienna. It was indeed a blessing to attend the Divine Liturgy at the Phanar and to sit at dinner with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. The Papal audience in Rome left a great impression on the pilgrims. May the Lord hasten the day that we share the cup of Communion.”
