Metropolitan Methodios Attends Chrism Celebration at Holy Cross Cathedral

His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios attended the Celebration of the Chrism Mass, an once a year event in one place, at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston on Holy Tuesday.  In his welcoming remarks, Cardinal Sean O'Malley told Metropolitan Methodios that he was looking forward to being at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Boston on Saturday night for the Resurrection Service.  In his remarks, Metropolitan Methodios said that walking into the Cathedral he heard a lady say to the gathering clergy, "thank you for being a Priest.  "I can't express more profoundly and more sincerely what is in my heart," said Metroolitan Methodios.  "She knows of the great sacrifices you have made to be Priests of God and to minister to the faithful entrusted to your care."  Concluded Metropolitan Methodios, "May we be worthy to stand before the Holy Cross and to feel the embrace of our crucified Lord as we journey to the empty Tomb.  May we be filled with the Light of our Lord's Resurrection."
