DEPUTY MINISTER OF DEFENSE VISITS METROPOLIS AND PHILOXENIA HOUSE

His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston was honored to receive in his office the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Hellenic Republic, Ioannis Plakiotakis, this morning.  Mr. Plakiotakis was visiting Boston for the first time and was impressed with the Omogeneia and its many accomplishments.  He made time in his schedule to visit the Philoxenia House where he had the opportunity of speaking with the guests who shared with him their love of their homeland, Greece, and their appreciation of the ministry of the Philoxenia House.  Prior to coming to Boston the Deputy Minister of Defense visited Washington, D.C. and New York where he had official talks with members of the United States Government.
