AMERICAN COLLEGE IN GREECE PRESIDENT VISITS METROPOLITAN METHODIOS

 

HIS EMINENCE METROPOLITAN METHODIOS, DR. DAVID G. HORNER, RIGHT, AND NICHOLAS JIAVARAS

The President of the American College in Greece visited His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston recently at the Metropolis Center in Brookline.  He was accompanied by Nicholas Jiavaras, the Executive Vice President for Institutional Advancement for the college. 

Dr. David G. Horner assumed his duties as the new president of The American College of Greece on Tuesday, July 1, 2008.

The institution known today as The American College of Greece (ACG) was founded in 1875 as a school for girls in Asia Minor and relocated to Athens in 1923.   ACG's current mission and setting, combining the best of American education with the intellectual and cultural heritage of Greece, provide a unique foundation for international educational excellence.
