Metropolis of Boston Hosts G.O.Y.A. Semi-Formal Dance

April 23, 2007

A great time was had by all at the first annual Metropolis of Boston G.O.Y.A. Semi-Formal dinner dance!!! The event was held at the Cathedral Center in Brookline, MA, on Friday, April 13th.

G.O.Y.A.s traveled from Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and all over Massachusetts to join in the fun. All who came looked "red-carpet ready", sticking to the semi-formal dress theme. The Cathedral Center was decorated with spring time in mind, and balloons, streamers, and flowers added a perfect touch. The D.J., Bobby Kariotis, a former member of the Roslindale G.O.Y.A., played the newest in both Greek and American music, making sure that the dancing was non-stop all evening. Plenty of pictures were taken and can be seen on the Metropolis of Boston website, www.goarch.boston.org.

The Semi-Formal dinner dance, which will be held every year, was an awesome time, and we hope to make it even bigger and better in the future! Thank you to all those who came! Spread the word for next year!
