Holy Cross Class of 2008 Holds Retreat at the Faith and Heritage Center

Contoocook, NH - The Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology Class of 2008 recently held a retreat at the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center in Contoocook, NH. Students of the class, along with Fr. Gerasimos Makris, chaplain of Hellenic College/Holy Cross, led the retreat. Fellow Holy Cross schoolmate, George Scarmoutzos, volunteered his time to prepare the meals. The students were clearly enthused by the hospitality they found at the Faith and Heritage Center. They filled their day with discussions, activities, and prayer. The activities focused on unifying their class as was evidenced by community/trust building exercises. They also worshiped in the St. George chapel with daily Orthros and Vespers services. After a long and active day, the class returned to campus in Brookline, MA tired, but thankful for a rewarding experience.
