Rev. Fr. Thomas Chininis

Rev. Chininis has served as the pastor of Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church since September 2012. Prior to this assignment he served the St. Philip Church at Nashua, NH, the St. Spyridon Church in Newport, RI and the Holy Trinity Church in Dallas, TX. He graduated from Wittenberg University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology with an M.Div.

Rev. Chininis has held leadership positions with the Nashua Area Interfaith Council, the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston Clergy Brotherhood, the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, and as the president of the New Hampshire Council of Churches. Additionally he has been a member of the Metropolis of Boston Council and the Metropolis of Boston Summer Camp Committee. He has also worked extensively with several summer camps of the Orthodox Church. In addition to his parish responsibilities he has served as the advisor of Orthodox Christian Fellowship at several colleges. Rev. Chininis is the father of three children who live in the Boston area. He lives in Amherst, New Hampshire with his wife.
